A Reason, a Season and a Lifetime

We meet thousands of people in ourlife. Some come into our life for a reason, some for a season, and some for alifetime. When you figure out which it is, you will know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for aREASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed inwardly or outwardly.They have come to help you out of a difficulty, or to provide you with guidanceand support.

Then, without any wrongdoing on yourpart or at a certain time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to anend. Sometimes they die; sometimes they just walk away; and sometimes theyforce you to do something that you do not like.

When people come into your lifefor a SEASON, it is time for you to share, grow, or learn. They may bring youan experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you havenever done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy, but only for aseason.

LIFETIME friendships are based on trust and understanding between youand your friend. Together, you have gone through good times as well as badtimes. Lifetime friendships teach you lifetime lessons. And your job is toaccept the lessons and love the people who teach you how to be good. So, whatis a lifetime friend? It is a single soul in two bodies.
